Ask Benito | What’s our Marketing Manager’s beauty routine?

We love all things brows and beauty related here at Benito headquarters, and we wanted to share with you our amazing top tips on how we keep our brows in shape, and give you a sneak peek into our beauty routines! To start things off, our wonderful Marketing Manager, Jenny, has answered some questions that will give you a good insight into her make-up bag…

How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
About half an hour. After a quick shower, I get dressed, scoop my hair back into a ponytail, add a bit of make-up and I’m ready to go!

What’s your morning beauty routine?
After cleansing my face (I love the No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush), I moisturise and pop on a flick of High Definition Lash&Brow Booster on my brows while I get dressed. Once that’s soaked in, I do my make-up. For the day-time, it’s a Stila BB cream, some colour on my brows (I use a powder), a flick of Max Factor mascara and some Benefit blusher.

How long does it take you to get ready for a night out?
Not too much longer! About an hour if I really take my time – and I usually end up rushing!

What’s your evening beauty routine?
I wear more make-up in the evenings, adding Clinique foundation and powder and some eyeliner to my usual routine. If the girls are round, we’ll do each other’s make-up!

What’s your can’t-leave-the-house-without make-up product?
High Definition Brow Beater – it holds my brows in place all day even if I’ve got no product on them. They just look tidier!

What’s your signature brow style?
Very natural. I’ve got quite fair hair and pale skin so I can’t pull off anything too dark or bold!

How do you achieve this and what products do you use?
We’re lucky to be collaborating with High Definition as it means we get to try out a lot of their fab products! Most of these have become my go-to beauty buys. I use the High Definition Eye&Brow Palette to fill in any gaps in my brows (1990s over-plucking days, I blame you!) and then brush the Brow Beater on to keep it all in place.

How often do you get your brows done?
Around every two weeks. I usually pop into our local Benito on my lunch break for a quick thread and tint. Without tinting, my brows are non-existent! I couldn’t live without it.
