Terms & conditions
The terms on which we provide treatments, and what you can expect from us.
Last updated 17 October 2026
1. Who we are
Benito Brow Bar is a trading name of Benito Brow Bar Stores Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 07826345), registered office Azets, Ventura Park Road, Tamworth B78 3HL. Our brow bars operate as concessions inside John Lewis, House of Fraser and Touchwood.
You can contact us at info@benitobrowbar.com or on 0121 244 1821.
2. Booking an appointment
- Appointments can be booked online, by telephone, or in person at any bar.
- Walk-in appointments are welcome at every bar, subject to availability.
- Bookings made through John Lewis are subject to John Lewis’ own booking terms in addition to these.
- Please arrive on time. If you are more than 10 minutes late we may not be able to complete your treatment in the time remaining, and may need to rebook you.
3. Deposits and cancellations
- A deposit may be required to secure lash extension and lash lift appointments, and will be deducted from the final price.
- If you need to cancel or rearrange, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice. We may retain the deposit where less notice is given or where an appointment is missed.
- We will always try to be flexible where illness or an emergency prevents you attending. Please tell us as soon as you can.
4. Skin and patch tests
Your safety comes before your appointment. These requirements are not negotiable and exist to protect you.
- Tinting — a skin test is required a minimum of 24 hours before treatment (we advise 24 to 48 hours) for new clients, and for anyone whose last skin test was more than 6 months ago. A test remains valid for 6 months.
- Lash lift — a patch test is required a minimum of 24 hours before treatment (we advise 24 to 48 hours) for new clients, and for anyone whose last patch test was more than 6 months ago.
- We cannot carry out a tinting or lash treatment without a valid test, even if this means rearranging your appointment.
5. Your health
- Please tell your technician before treatment about any allergies, skin conditions, recent cosmetic procedures, eye infections, or if you are pregnant.
- We may decline or postpone a treatment where we believe it would not be safe or suitable. This is a clinical judgement and is made in your interest.
- Aftercare guidance is given with every treatment. Following it affects both the result and your safety.
6. Prices and payment
- Prices vary slightly between bars and are confirmed at the point of booking and before treatment begins.
- Payment is taken after treatment unless a deposit applies.
- We may change prices from time to time. Any change will not affect a booking already confirmed.
7. Discount, corporate and VIP cards
Discount cards
- A discount card is allocated to one named person and is not transferable.
- Cards cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
- The card must be presented before treatment begins.
- Discount applies to full-price services only, and excludes retail products and packages.
Corporate and retail cards
- The card must be presented at the time of treatment to be eligible for the discount.
- We may ask you to confirm your employment.
VIP cards
- VIP cards hold no cash value, cannot be sold and are not transferable.
- Valid for the named cardholder only.
- On lash extension and lash lift treatments, the maximum discount that can be applied under any VIP card is 20%.
- Valid on full-price services only; excludes retail products and packages.
- Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
- We reserve the right to withdraw a card where it is being used unfairly.
- Cards cannot be re-issued if lost or stolen.
Lash lift discounts
- Discounts on lash lifts apply only with a corporate card, retail card or 20% VIP card.
- Host store discount does not apply to lash lift treatments.
8. Gift cards and pre-paid treatments
- Gift cards and pre-paid treatment cards hold no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- They are valid for the treatments specified, at any Benito Brow Bar, subject to any required skin test.
- They cannot be used together with another offer or promotion for the same treatment.
- Please keep them safe. We cannot replace a lost or stolen card.
- Expiry dates are shown on the card. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 we will always honour a card within its stated validity period.
9. If something is not right
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 our services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. If you are unhappy with a treatment:
- Please tell us as soon as possible, ideally within 7 days, so we can look at the result while it can still be corrected.
- We will offer to put it right at no charge where the issue is with our work.
- Where it cannot reasonably be put right you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund.
- Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
10. Complaints
Please contact us at info@benitobrowbar.com or speak to the technician or manager at your bar. We aim to acknowledge every complaint within 5 working days.
11. Liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. We are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for personal belongings left at a bar.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your treatment is the one published on the date you book.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
