London has ruled the runway with it leading the way with it’s beauty trends debuted at London Fashion Week. Fearless and bold statement looks with dazzling glitter and a mixture of disco mixed with a 90’s rave. The variation of looks achieved makes it one of the must have follow bibles to stay up to date with the latest looks and trends. Here at Benito HQ we have picked our favourite looks from London Fashion Week.

House of Holland

House of Holland never disappoints with it’s fun and expressive looks.  Welcome 1970’s disco mixed with 1990’s rave culture. Bold prints and colours ruled this runway. Take House of Holland as inspiration for a night out look to remember. Dominic Skinner created this look using the MAC “It’s Designer” palette focusing on the pink, purple, lime and yellow colours with a hint silver. The core colour was focused around the entire socket of the eye, then diffused down to the top of the cheek.  To give an extra bit of glam a holographic glitter was pressed around the eye, up the temple and right into the hairline to create the disco vibe of a disco ball.  To try a look similar at home which is great to keep in mind for the festive parties that will soon be upon us , Skinner offers his tips. Keep the wash of colour only on the eyelids then top with a glitter of your choice. Finish the look with a black liner in the waterline and add some mascara to pull the look together.

Make up artist Terry Barber created the looks at Marques’ Almeida. He debuted a different look on each model. One of the looks was a peach shadow which was diffused to give a soft look. A strong look shown was a black lip, strong and black with PVC inspiration with the added shine.  One of our favourite looks was colour blocking. The one staple sharp colour for the eye area was a triumph. The rounded graphic shape round the eye is an easy look to copy at home, and make the face more of an art form channeling and completing the designer look.

Ashley Williams

Remember having a troll doll back when you were younger? Well the 90’s iconic hair do was seen on the catwalk of Ashley Williams show. The troll doll hairdo was seen on Georgia May Jagger. The look was completed with rhinestones and iconic hair slides. Why not add some punk attitude to your hair do with rhinestone hair slides and hair with plenty of volume. This look is metal, techno with a hint of angelic vibes all in one.

Rouland Mouret

The make up was kept minimal, with the manicures being the staple. Nail artist Marian Newman matched the nail art to the necklaces in the collection. Why not for your next manicure add some colour or pattern to match your favourite pieces of jewellery.
