Milan fashion week was a week of the best of Italian fashion. We have picked our best beauty looks and trends straight from the catwalk. 90’s hair and make up was a staple look of the runway. One unforgettable moment was Jennifer Lopez looking incredible, recreating that iconic green dress worn to the Grammy awards back in 2000.  The partnership was with Google as the original dress worn by J.Lo literally broke the internet, and being the most searched for image on Google. Not only did J.Lo walk the catwalk, the Hadid sister’s and Kendal Jenner also were the spotlight of the shows.

Max Mara

90’s gothic make up was the look by Max Mara. Dark berry lips and blue eyeshadow made it’s comeback. Many of us have bad memories of these two 90’s beauty trends. However Max Mara presented a fresh update of the naughties look. The blue eyeshadow was more of a delicate wash of colour, and lips were well defined, and perfectly matte. The look was completed with a Lara Croft and wannabe spy theme of plaits, and tomboy vests and no nonsense attitude.

Versace

Back in the 90’s Victoria Beckham were one of many who wore the wet look hair slick back.Kendall Jenner debuted a fresh blonde look completed with kiss curls. Iconic gold jewellery paired with heavy brows and neon eye make up gave it a rebellious and powerful look. A wet look hair is great for a night out look, and takes minutes. It’s also a life saver of a look if you have ran out of the dry shampoo, and need a cover up look.

Fendi

Not only is this a great festival look, it’s going to be making it’s comeback as our go to hairstyle. Space buns were worn by Gwen Stefani and Mel B. Don’t be scared to show your scary spice look with this easy to recreate hair style. Finish the look as shown on Bella Hadid with glitter eyeliner under the eyes for a fun disco vibe.

Prada

Pat McGrath created this iconic look for Prada. The boss brows aren’t going anywhere. The bold beauty look included dramatic black arcs under the brow bone and white pigments in the corner of the eyes. A look everyone can recreate is the statement lip. Choose a velvety matte lipstick with intense pigmentation.

Moschino

Say “Hola” to the latest look by Moschino. Inspired by Spanish art and culture the influence was not missed by the vibrant , and vivid use of colour and pattern.  A classic red lip and sleek cat eye was the go to look. The print was literally head to toe! Strokes of paint were brushed into the models’ hair in shades of pink, blue, green and red.  Why not try matching your outfit with a matching print or coloured hair accessory showing your Moschino inspiration.
